He wrote, "I've had several opportunities to sit and talk with Mr. King. Some of my favorite discussions and interviews. Always welcoming, knowledgeable, and generous. Wish we had more shows like his to get to know folks on a different level. He was one of kind."
He also included a clip from one of those interviews where he recalled singing"This Little Light of Mine"at a Pentecostal church when he was four.

My ENTIRE life I sat around the dinner table and watched Larry King interview everyone from Michael Jackson to Bill Clinton. I still have those round dotted lights engrained in my mind from his set background. So, needless to say I was so eager to have my own interview with Larry King. I was headlining the Greek Theatre in Hollywood, and that made it even more special. Larry was such a class act. He asked me questions no one had ever asked me, and we chatted for over an hour.
