Mother’s Day is this weekend and there’s a good reason we're celebrating moms. After all, most moms are bending over backwards to keep everyone's life moving. So much that many people - especially kids - don't get it. And while moms take on many roles in their household, if they actually got paid for what they actually do, many would be rolling in dough.
A new survey finds that moms spend 97-hours a week with parenting alone. Beyond that, 65% say they are a chef/cook, while another 65% take on the role of meal planner, and 61% say they are their family’s cleaner.Other top “Mom Jobs” include:
- Launderer (59%)
- Teacher (59%)
- Nurse (55%)
- Life coach (53%)
- Personal assistant 53%)
- Therapist (50%)
- Event planner (49%)
- Chauffeur (49%)
- Tutor (48%)
- Cheerleader (45%)
- Professional cuddler (45%)
- Financial adviser (43%)
And if moms were paid for all the jobs they do? They’d be bringing in $100,460 a year.
