The Minot Police Department is working with the Minot Public Schools to investigate the report of a student bringing a weapon to Central Campus. A weapon was located outside of school property and a juvenile was referred to Juvenile Court for possession of a dangerous weapon. Our investigation into this matter has given us no reason to believe the student intended to harm staff or students. We have no reason to believe there is any further danger to the public.
