North Dakota’s 2018 Miss Basketball Anna Holen of LaMoure-Litchville-Marion headlines the 2018 Class “B” Girls All-State first team. Holen, who is headed to the University of Jamestown to play volleyball, is one of five seniors to earn first team all-state status. The other senior include Miss Basketball candidate Stephanie Miller of North Star, Kidder County’s Grace Benz, Elizabeth Lyons of Lisbon and Jordyn Worley of Langdon-Edmore-Munich. The lone underclassman on the first team is 8th grader Abby Duchscherer of Kindred.
The 10-member second team includes 4 standouts from our area…junior Tyleigh Brady of New Town, sophomore Kaity Hove of Trenton, senior Abby Iverson of Stanley and senior Maddie Uhlenkamp of Rugby. The other second team members are seniors Alexis Bentz and Taylor Roehl of state champion Grant County, senior Sydney Anderson of state runnerup Killdeer, senior Taylor Reilly of Drayton-Valley-Edinburg, senior Amber Stevahn of Shiloh Christian and junior Katie Entzi of Edgeley-Kulm-Montpelier.
