Fund Raising Scam in Minot

The Minot Police Department has received several reports of a fund raising scam attempt.  Callers are reprting that an organization identifying itself as “Police Action Fund” is raising donations on behalf of the Minot Police Department.  No agreement exists between any fundraising organization and the Minot Police Department. Police also say that they don’t solicit donations by phone for any reason.
