Mother’s Day is still a couple of weeks away, and if you’re planning to spend the day with mom you may want to listen up because a new survey reveals just what she wants, at least when it comes to food.
As we previously told you, Open Table recently came out with their Top 100 spots for brunch which is a good thing because a new TripAdvisor survey finds that mom’s top dining choice for Mother’s Day is brunch (30%), although only 16% of moms were actually treated to brunch by their families last year.
Meanwhile, 17% of moms would prefer to be taken out to dinner, but not all moms need to actually go out. In fact, 24% of moms say they’d prefer a home-cooked meal on Mother’s Day. And if you are taking mom out, there’s no need to actually break the bank, with most moms preferring every day dining on Mother’s Day to a fine dining restaurant.
Regardless of what you do or where you go, moms really only care about who they are spending the day with. The survey finds that 48% of moms enjoy spending Mother’s Day with their children, while 25% like spending it with their partner and 19% want to spend the day with extended family.
