On 6/23/2019 at 5:22 PM, officers from the Minot Police Department responded to a robbery of the Shell gas station located at Marketplace Foods at 2216 16th St. NW. A suspect had entered the store, brandished a handgun at the store employee and demanded money. The suspect then fled the store with an undisclosed amount of money and got into a truck that was parked east of the business. The truck is described as a 1/2 ton, white, possibly a 90's model work style truck. The suspect is described as a white male, 5'11 - 6'3 with black hair. The suspect was wearing a black hoodie and sunglasses at the time of the robbery.
