UPDATE on shooting incident in Minot on 7/26

Update Release 7/30/2020:

The Minot Police Department has identified the parties involved in the shooting from the early morning hours of July 26th, 2020. The incident occurred as a group leaving, confronted a group arriving at the ICR “Blacked Out Night” after party. An altercation ensued and eventually erupted in an exchange of gunfire. This matter is being referred to the Ward County State’s Attorney’s Office for review. This was an isolated incident and there is no known immediate danger to the community. The names of those involved will not be released at this time as charges in this incident are under review.

Original Release 7/26/2020:

On 7/26/20 at approximately 0238 hrs, Minot Central Dispatch received a call from an individual near the Ice Cold Ryders reporting gunshots. Responding officers located and secured the crime scene, which was located a short distance from 105 W. Central Ave. Three victims received gunshot wounds and were all transported to Trinity Hospital by private parties. One victim was treated and released and two were admitted. This is an ongoing investigation and no further information on the victims, or their conditions is available at this time
