SUMMARY OF CIRCUMSTANCES SURROUNDING INCIDENT:
Minot Police arrested Anthony Simmons II after an incident in the evening hours of December 30, 2020. The reporting party alleged that
she had arranged to me Simmons in a parking lot to purchase a game console. When the sale fell through, Simmons reportedly robbed
her at gunpoint. Simmons is then accused of striking the victim’s vehicle in an attempt to flee the scene. Police located Simmons moments
later and he was taken into custody. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident. Simmons is being held on charges of Robbery (B
Felony) and Criminal Mischief (C Felony). He is in the custody of the Ward County Jail awaiting his initial appearance.
