Minot Police investigated a traffic accident that occurred on February 5, 2021 at 6th St SE and Hwy 2. The initial report indicated that two vehicles had been involved in a head on collision at this location. An investigation revealed the driver of the pickup truck, 40 year old Cheyne Nathan Brenno of Minot, was turning north onto 6th St SE from Hwy 2. A car, driven by a 22 year old male from Minot, was traveling west on Hwy 2 when the two vehicles collided. Brenno was uninjured and Community Ambulance evaluated the other driver who was released on scene. Brenno was subsequently cited for: Turning Left in front of Approaching Traffic (infraction) and arrested for: DUI, 4th Offense (class C felony).
