Minot State University has named two finalists for the head womens basketball coaching job. The finalists are Sean page, the current head womens coach at Newberry College in Newberry, South Carolina and Mark Graupe, the head womens coach at Dickinson State University.
Page is in his ninth year at Newberry and has an overall record of 163-98. He has led teams to the NCAA Division Two National Tournament twice and earned the South Atlantic Conference Tournament Championship in 2015. He also had a head coaching stop at Brescia University and served as an assistant coach at two Division One schools…Troy University and Boise State.
Graupe has been at Dickinson State for four years where he turned around the Blue Hawks program with two back to back trips to the NAIA Division Two national tournament. His overall record at Dickinson is 46-17. Before coming to Dickinson, Graupe was interim head men’s coach at Division One Dartmouth, served as Director of Men’s Basketball Operations at Colorado State and head men’s basketball at Lake Region State College in Devils Lake for 8 years.
Page will have his on campus interview on Wednesday and Graupe will be on campus on Friday.
