Some couples rush into marriage, but not Jim and Janice Catlin. These newlyweds recently tied the knot, but their romance took place on a longer timeline. Jim, 88, first met his 86-year-old bride a long time ago - way back in 1947 on a school bus.
Jim and Janice were just kids when they met all those decades ago and they both lived their lives in the years since then. But after reconnecting in their old age, they began seeing each other pretty much every day for close to a year. And a few months after they were reunited, they decided to get married.
“I feel 21,” the groom says. “It’s just her and we just want to stay together.” Congratulations to the happy couple!
