Students at Roland Park Elementary School’s after-school Host program are learning valuable life lessons in how to treat others. Schools in Hillsborough County, Florida are working with the nonprofit For The Family on a Kindness of the Heart campaign where kindness is key.
The kids are encouraged to help others, but not just at school, out in their neighborhoods as well. And then they’re encouraged to share their good deeds and acts of kindness. They’re learning from each other and making the world a better place, too.
"You never know what kind of day a person's been through so you being kind can make and change their whole day," explains 13-year-old studentEryn Scruggs.
