ON JUNE 22nd AT 1:06 PM,
On June 22nd at 1:06 PM, Minot Central Dispatch received a 9-1-1 call about a stabbing that had happened at Toad's Ride and Shine. As officers were responding, the suspect and victim were said to be leaving in the same vehicle from the business. Officers located and stopped the vehicle and determined that a 17 year old juvenile male received a small stab wound from an altercation that had taken place with a 12 year old juvenile male.
The juvenile victim was transported to Trinity ER for a non-life threatening injury. The victim and suspect were known to each other. The juvenile suspect was referred into juvenile court for aggravated assault. Due to this being a juvenile case, no further information will be released at this time.
