The Minot Police Department is investigating an early morning accident in which a vehicle driven by Payton Whiteowl, struck Lewis and Clark Elementary School. The school sustained substantial damage as a result. The accident was not immediately reported to law enforcement and the vehicle was removed from the scene prior to police notification. No injuries were reported. This accident remains under investigation and charges are being submitted to the City Attorney’s Office for review.
