Early Morning Minot Fire Displaces Three Residents

The Minot Fire Department quickly extinguished a structure fire at 408 1st St. NW early

Thursday morning. Crews arrived on scene within two minutes of the 3:24 a.m.

and found fire showing from a second story window. Firefighters entered the structure

to begin fire suppression and search and rescue.

The fire was quickly extinguished and the structure was cleared of all occupants and animals.

One resident was home at the time of the fire and exited safely;

a total of three individuals were displaced from this incident.

The Red Cross is assisting the individuals with housing until the involved structure is deemed safe.

No one was injured during this incident. The fire remains under investigation.
