Fire damages apartment in northwest Minot two residents displaced
Fire damaged a residential apartment in northwest Minot on Tuesday evening, displacing two residents. The Minot Fire Department responded to 827 10th Ave NW at 9:55 p.m. for a report of a kitchen fire. Fire units arrived on scene and made a quick knockdown of the fire and contained it to the room of origin. A search was also conducted in three apartment units for occupants. All occupants were able to exit the structure safely with the assistance of the Minot Police Department prior to the Minot Fire Department’s arrival. Two engines, two ladder trucks, and one command vehicle responded to the incident, with 16 firefighters on scene. No injuries were reported. Fire units remained on scene overnight to conduct fire watch. The fire remains under investigation.
