Lauren Alaina shared the second part of her two-part nursery tour on Wednesday evening (July 9).
The âThose Kind Of Womenâ artist picked up where she left off in the first video, which she shared on her social media accounts on Tuesday (July 8). Alaina shared the story behind a homemade blanket that was a gift from a young fan and her grandmother.
âThis is her crib, which Iâm obsessed with,â Alaina went on to point out. âYou know what the craziest thing about this crib is, I was very passionate that I wanted a wooden crib with these rods on it, and my mom said itâs almost identical to the crib that I was in when I was a baby.â
The Georgia-born singer-songwriter noted a few sentimental items throughout the nursery, including stuffed animals gifted by family members (tucked neatly into a basket signed by legendary members of the Grand Ole Opry), a cardinal that symbolizes visits from a lost loved one, the couch where husband Cam Arnold sits to watch TV (Alaina and her daughter have âtaken overâ the former âman caveâ in the house to transform into the nursery, âso we let him keep the couch,â she explained), and the babyâs closet. Alaina said âthis girlâs got more clothes than I do. My family went crazy⌠Sheâs got quite the boot collection. Ready for her mommaâs concerts any time.â
Alaina previously shared sentimental stories behind her daughterâs nursery, including decorative pieces and a furniture set the former American Idol contestantâs grandmother bought when she was pregnant with Alainaâs mother.
Alaina said her daughter is âabsolute perfectionâ when she and her husband welcomed daughter Beni Doll Arnold on June 11. The new parents have since shared the sweet inspiration behind their babyâs name. Watch the second part of Alainaâs two-part nursery tour here, and watch the first part again below.
