Lauren Alaina Reveals 'Craziest Thing' About An Item In Her Baby's Nursery

Lauren Alaina shared the second part of her two-part nursery tour on Wednesday evening (July 9).

The “Those Kind Of Women” artist picked up where she left off in the first video, which she shared on her social media accounts on Tuesday (July 8). Alaina shared the story behind a homemade blanket that was a gift from a young fan and her grandmother.

“This is her crib, which I’m obsessed with,” Alaina went on to point out. “You know what the craziest thing about this crib is, I was very passionate that I wanted a wooden crib with these rods on it, and my mom said it’s almost identical to the crib that I was in when I was a baby.”

The Georgia-born singer-songwriter noted a few sentimental items throughout the nursery, including stuffed animals gifted by family members (tucked neatly into a basket signed by legendary members of the Grand Ole Opry), a cardinal that symbolizes visits from a lost loved one, the couch where husband Cam Arnold sits to watch TV (Alaina and her daughter have “taken over” the former “man cave” in the house to transform into the nursery, “so we let him keep the couch,” she explained), and the baby’s closet. Alaina said “this girl’s got more clothes than I do. My family went crazy… She’s got quite the boot collection. Ready for her momma’s concerts any time.”

Alaina previously shared sentimental stories behind her daughter’s nursery, including decorative pieces and a furniture set the former American Idol contestant’s grandmother bought when she was pregnant with Alaina’s mother.

Alaina said her daughter is “absolute perfection” when she and her husband welcomed daughter Beni Doll Arnold on June 11.
