November 20, 2025 Suspect wanted in connection with Nov. 7 homicide in northeast Minot

The Minot Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a suspect connected to the Nov. 7 homicide in northeast Minot. Investigators have identified Chozey Joran Morsette, 30, of Minot, as a suspect in the killing of Anthony William Redmond. An arrest warrant has been issued for Morsette on a charge of Murder (Class AA Felony). Anyone with information on Morsette’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Minot Police Department at 701-852-0111. Do not approach Morsette; call law enforcement immediately. The investigation remains ongoing.

Update Nov. 7: The Minot Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance as part of the ongoing investigation into the homicide that occurred earlier this morning, Friday, November 7, 2025, in northeast Minot. Investigators are asking any residents in the area of 3rd Street NE to Broadway, between 4th, 5th, and 6th Avenues NE, between the hours of 5:30 a.m. and 6:15 a.m., to review any Ring or other home security camera footage for possible activity in the area. Anyone who has captured video is asked to submit video.
