If you’re looking for trouble, you’ll be able to find it no matter where you are. Sure, all places have their vices and virtues, some states are definitely more well-behaved than others. And a new report reveals which ones are more naughty than nice.
- WalletHub has just released their annual list of the Most Sinful States in the U.S.
- They compared all 50 states on 54 key indicators of immoral or illicit behavior in seven main categories — Anger & Hatred, Jealousy, Excesses & Vices, Greed, Lust, Vanity and Laziness.
- States were rated on everything from violent crimes per capita to the share of the population with gambling disorders and the share of obese adults.
- Based on all that, which state is most sinful? Nevada is number one, yet again.
- It’s first for Jealousy and Greed, second for Excesses & Vices, and fifth for Lust and Laziness.
- At the bottom of the list is Idaho, making it the least sinful state overall.
- New Hampshire, Vermont, Utah, and Wyoming round out the five least sinful states.
