Officers responded to #905 Holiday Village to investigate the report of a shot being fired and a bullet entering a neighboring residence. The investigation revealed 56 year old Russell Brandt discharged his handgun while handling it inside his residence. The bullet exited through his trailer wall and into a neighboring trailer, nearly striking a person inside that residence. Brandt was placed under arrest for Reckless Endangerment (class C Felony). He was transported to the Ward County Jail.
