Thursday February 22nd, 2018 at approximately 5:45 PM officers were dispatched to the 200 block of 16th St NW for a report of a hit and run accident involving multiple injuries. Witnesses informed dispatchers that three individuals were seen running from the striking vehicle. The two occupants of the vehicle struck during the crash were pinned inside their vehicle. Both were eventually extricated from the vehicle by Minot Fire/Rescue and transported to Trinity ER by Community Ambulance. Both suffered serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. A passenger from the striking vehicle was located and detained by witnesses until officers arrived. He was also transported to Trinity ER by Community Ambulance with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. This crash is still under investigation and police are attempting to identify and locate the driver of the vehicle.Anyone with information are urged to contact Minot Central Dispatch at 852-0111 or Crime Stoppers at 852-7463. Anyone providing information leading to the arrest of the driver who fled from the scene of the injury crash may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
