KCJB's Scott Kittell To Be Inducted Into Minot Baseball Hall Of Fame

The Minot Baseball Hall Of Fame announced the induction of long time Minot Sports Broadcaster Scott Kittell to the Minot Baseball Hall Of Fame. The announcement was made February 27th 2019.

Scott started his TV & radio career back in 1975 under the guidance of long time Hall Of Fame North Dakota Broadcaster Russ Smith, and has been committed to serving, playing and representing athletes, teams, and families not just in Minot but the surrounding area ever since. Scott played Minot High School Baseball and also summer Babe Ruth and American Legion Baseball. Scott is a former President and board member of Magic City Youth Baseball, two time President and current member of the NDAP Sportscasters & Sportswriters Association, A member of the Minot State University Hall Of Fame Committee since 2004, the voice of the Minot State Beavers for the last 16 years, the voice for Minot High football and basketball, high school and American Legion baseball, host of “On the Air” and a heritage announcer and sportscaster since 1975 on 910 AM KCJB.Scott has dedicated his life to youth sports in Minot with countless hours, reffing basketball, baseball and softball games, traveling on buses, and driving to and from games.Scott’s dedication starts first though with his daughter and son-in-law Ashley and Nathan Medler and the two greatest joys In his life granddaughter Kinsley and grandson Bryce.

The Minot Baseball Hall Of Fame will be holding an induction ceremony to recognize Scott on Friday, June 28th 2019 at approximately 8pm, before the final game of the day during The Heilman Performance Tournament at Corbett Field in Minot.
