Progress on the U.S. 83 West Bypass four-lane project will require traffic control changes beginning Monday, July 22.
Officials with the Department of Transportation project said the 19th Avenue NW access to the bypass’s west side will be temporarily closed beginning Monday, July 22, to allow installation of culverts, grading, and paving. The access is anticipated to be reopened by mid-September.
Also, the Minot Park District’s shared use path between 4th Avenue NW and 19th Avenue NW will be closed beginning Monday, July 22, as work on the east side of the bypass project progresses. The path is anticipated to be reopened to pedestrians and other users by mid-September.
