A small fire in the Beaver Ridge Apartments located at 1100 North Broadway resulted in minor water damage to one part of the building. The fire on Tuesday evening triggered the building’s fire suppression system, which quickly extinguished the flames while the alarm system alerted other occupants to exit the building. Crews from the Minot Fire Department shut off the sprinkler system when they arrived on scene. One family was displaced until cleanup work is completed. No one was injured in the incident. The fire is not viewed as suspicious.
